Religion or perspective?

Sitting at age 26 having been born in the Christian heavy south, now living in a city coined "Sin City" I often ponder, what's this power or inner strength I've seen other draw from and change their lives or endure endless hardships with a smile.
Someone like myself approaches the uncertainties that lie in my everyday life with blind faith. Faith in that doing things a certain way over time will wield a worthy result. The old keeping your head up and your eyes open. Being an opportunist is something I identify with.
All this can seem very similar to someone that places their trust in a higher power. But I have faith in myself and my ability to continously be moving forward.
If you consider yourself a religious individual please feel free to share within your own reasoning how it is you trust where your faith is placed. Is it the need to know there is something after death. Is it something that you feel lifts you up?
There is no wrong ideology as long as the is reason.

I want a beach body

So you want to transform your physique. You want to know exactly what it takes to get the desired results you want? What separates slim Jims from gym rats? A lot is published on routines, sets, reps, new exercises, diets, supplements and the blogs are filled with information on proper steroid dosages.

I want to take a moment to touch on training philosophy. What mental approach should be taken when one decides to embark on the journey of fitness. Like anything, picking a major for college, making a move to a different city, dropping a habit. It all starts upstairs.

Positive thinking when combine with rational thinking I feel can be quite powerful when one is pursing goals. First you have to believe in yourself and then you have to be able to put all that goes with accomplishing something into perspective. Does my lifestyle currently support me to where I want to be, am I willing to be patient and be consistent.

Perseverance is what usually separates the heard. Life will be life and throw unknown obstacles your way. If your like many who have recently got into fitness and feel it working for you only to have more than you can handle thrown in your lap. Well just remember this at the end of the day. The better you take care of yourself, the better equipped you'll be for life.

Getting back more to the mental state when approaching training, do your remember the advice of taking "baby steps"? It might not seem like the gym is the best place to take this to heart, but I can assure you we all did at some point.

There is a huge mistake novice lifters make that can come back to bite you in the ass years down the line and unless you don't plan on living 10-15 years down the road then pay attention. Leave your ego at the door when going to the gym or exercise class or whatever it is that your doing to start your fitness journey.

One of the easiest ways to get turned away from fitness is to hurt yourself. The first couple months spent in the gym should be on learning techniques, proper breathing, stretching (making sure you have full range of motion in your joints), and preparing your body for an active lifestyle. This mentally takes a lot of patience as you'll see people in there looking amazing, doing amazing things and you think that's the only way you'll get there as well. If that thought ever creeps into your best just stop and remind your self, it will all come with time, dedication, and patience.

Lastly, taking the time to learn your body is very crucial, you don't need to take a college course, but just simply learning what major muscles are doing what at any given point during an exercise can vastly make your time in the gym more efficient. And just realize that on your way too transforming your body, it's your only body. If ensuring can't be accomplished in time for one summer or reunion, conference or whatever it is, don't panic. Take your time, because once you achieve your goals, even if it took 5 years. Remember it could of went the extreme other way within that 5 year time span

Pushing forward

To all my fans and admires,

I can't thank you enough for all your support over the past few years. Currently I'm in the process of getting things together and ready to start shooting my own private content which will be made available for purchase directly through my website at a killer deal, no subscription will be necessary as the site launches but maybe an option in the future as my library of content builds over time.

Something I'd like to ask of everyone is some things I could use some help with along the way, first off models. If anyone near the Vegas area is interested in being in a scene with me please vist my home page www.jaxtonwheeler.com and fill out a form with "Model" in the subject line and your performance info (stats, gay/bi/straight/ positions and fetishes)

I also am looking to design a mobile app for my website to list in the Google Play Store. If anyone can assist me or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone would like to assist me with my social media management, I need to start building a team for the future.

In the mean time please follow me on Twitter www.twitter.com/JaxtonWheeler
